Manasi & Me

Awais, one of Manasi's success stories

Awais’ Journey – The Power of Mentorship

From speaking on stage to commentating football matches, Awais’ story is a true reflection of Manasi’s Mentoring pillar in action.

“There’s been a number of events that Sonam’s hosted and I've had the pleasure of being invited to. She brought me through and there’s loads of different stuff which in my lifetime I never thought I’d be able to do… but she's made it happen. I’m a big football fan — I was allowed to commentate games, I met a pro footballer who I'm still in contact with now— she’s opened a lot of doors for me.”

Awais has supported and hosted events like Cypher School, The Visionary Summit, and our 2021 Charity Football Match, becoming a confident and valued voice within the community. Through the platform Manasi created, he’s stepped into spaces he never imagined possible — and continues to grow from strength to strength.

Chaz, Dolly & Michelle's Journey -

Movement that builds community

In the heart of Normanton, a free weekly ladies-only dance fitness class became more than just a workout — it became a sisterhood.

Chaz, Dolly, and Michelle were part of a beautiful community of women brought together through movement, laughter, and shared energy. The sessions were open to all ages, all abilities — a truly intergenerational space where women felt safe, empowered, and uplifted.

“The foundation has touched a lot of lives without them really knowing it. The ladies-only sessions were intergenerational, all ages, all abilities. We want more people to get the opportunity that we had.”

These classes weren’t just about fitness — they nurtured connection and wellbeing. As Manasi continues to grow, our dream is to reunite and expand this community — bringing more women into spaces where they can move freely and belong fully.

Daniel's Journey - More than just Music

Since, 2019, DJ Daniel Henry of Unit03Music has been more than just a supporter to Manasi events - he's been a constant creative partner in shaping moments that uplift our communities.

From the electrifying Kidney Research Flashmob to the inspiring Visionary Summit, Cypher School and football matches, Daniel and Sonam have collaborated on over six events - each one rooted in purpose, powered by music, and delivered with love.

"We collaborated on Gymcity Fest and then from there we've done about 6 projects since. Sonam is selfless and she's all about bringing people together and helping people where she can. She does it every time she commits to a project. With what Sonam does, it's always something new, something fresh and something that the community is asking for."

Their work together represents what Manasi stands for.
